Florence Boat Tour

This was a lovely way to spend an evening! I took the boat ride at about 6:30 pm, in September it was around sunset, and it was really beautiful. The weather was perfect so that really did help. Our guide (I forgot his name, sadly) was knowledgeable, but I'm not sure how well everyone could hear him. I was sitting by him so it was fine for me, but he didn't have a microphone and he wasn't super loud. I did notice the previous guide was using a microphone. Otherwise, it was really enjoyable, he told us about the buildings and bridges along the way, plus some history of Florence. About half way he opened the prosecco, there was plenty to go around and you could have a second cup if you liked. It was a different way to see Florence and to get away from the crowds on the bridges, I would definitely recommend it. It wasn't too long, a little over an hour, so it's easy to fit in during site seeing.
