A tour to visit two of the best cities in Tuscany: Pisa and Lucca

This unique tour of Pisa and Lucca is one of the most enticing opportunities to see two of the most interesting attractions of Tuscany. Join us and discover the heritage and beauty of two impressive sights. Set out into the charming Tuscan countryside and visit these two jewels that are a testament to the captivating heritage of Italy and Tuscany.

Admire Pisa and its landmarks

Enjoy an unique tour of Pisa, one of the true wonders of the world. You will find Pisa along the road that leads to the coast from Florence. Your professional guide will show you the most important squares and monuments in Pisa: the famous Piazza dei Miracoli with the Leaning Tower, the Cemetery and the Cathedral. Please note that the Cathedral of Pisa is now free and, in the most crowded days, it could not be possible to visit its interior due to a long queue. In such cases, you will do a tour of Piazza Cavalieri instead. Then you will have time for lunch (included).

Visit Lucca, a wonderful medieval town in the north of Tuscany

Explore the beautiful Lucca: it is truly one of the most impressive sights of the region, combining the elegance of the Renaissance with the impressive medieval ramparts and gates. The whole experience in Lucca starts with a vist along the walls, admiring the beautiful view of the city from above. Then you will reach through the old centre of Lucca, with amazing churches, palaces, mansions and tower-houses. This is truly one of the most rewarding attractions of Tuscany. Do not forget to visit its most interesting landmarks, like the Piazza Amfiteatro, Guinigi Tower, St. Martin Cathedral and more.
The tour ends with a "bucellato" tasting, a typical Lucchese cake - a famous saying of the Lucchesi (people from Lucca) is: "those who come to Lucca without eating the Buccellato is like they have never been there!".
After the tour, you will come back to Florence.

Other eXPeriences To Do in Tuscany

Instead, if you want to visit only Pisa, we recommend the Half Day Tour of Pisa! We also suggest you the Tuscany Tour: Montepulciano, Montalcino and Val d'Orcia Wine Roads and the Day Tour of Tuscany from Florence: San Gimignano, Siena, Chianti and Monteriggioni.

Great tour....great guide

Alejandro was out guide and he was very entertaining and knew much about the trip we took. We did the Lucca and Pisa tour.....following by going to a BEAUTIFUL winery/vineyard where we tasted lovely wines and were given the history of that winery. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is I would have liked less time in Lucca as (for me) it was not very interesting and Pisa looked like a great town to wonder around in. The leaning tower was certainly the highlight along with the winery. I would defintily recommend this tour. Oh and the meeting point at the train station is NOT easy to find....the "clock" is actually on the top of the building and it is digital....not at all what I was looking or when thinking "under the black clock" :) GREAT trip though.... fabulous guide
